Licensed Professional Counselor
Prepare-Enrich Seminar Director
We are not meant to live life in isolation. We innately crave meaningful connection with others. I believe in helping people build healthy, deep lasting relationships and friendships. However, sometimes life happens. Attachment wounds surface. Trauma occurs. Life Transitions are inevitable. Depression and anxiety take over. These things keep us from enjoying the people and things we love.
My Approach
I take a holistic, evidenced based approach looking at your past and present issues, as well as your emotional, physical, spiritual and mental state. All of these play an integral role in how you function on a daily basis. I will help you identify areas in your life that hold you back and give you the skills you need to live a fulfilling life. I mainly use an Internal Family Systems approach along with cognitive behavioral and solution focused perspectives. I seek to help you find healing and grow; so you may share Life Together authentically and freely.
About Me
I am a wife and mother of three. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Some of my favorite things are great conversations, hearing others' stories, good wine, long walks and hitting the gym. I love to travel and learn about other cultures and perspectives.
I decided to go into counseling when I was living in Germany. Being taken out of my comfort zone forced me to grow. It was during this time I saw many struggling with depression, anxiety, transitions, etc that I knew I wanted to know more about and help others in a relational counseling setting. It was also the time in my life that I experienced a deep community and bond of friendships that is life lasting: hence the name LIFE TOGETHER.
