Do you take insurance?

Life Together requires payment at the time of service.  Life Together is not in network with any particular insurance company. However, with no additional cost to you, I am happy to provide all the documentation you need to submit to your insurance. Depending then, on your policy, your insurance company will reimburse you directly. However, please note insurance requires a diagnosis to authorize treatment. These negative labels can follow a client through life and interfere with insurability later. Your files are NOT shared with anyone unless you sign release of information.

How much is counseling and what form of payment do you take?

50 minute sessions are $160.00

90 minute sessions are $280.00

Neurofeedback session $120

Neurofeedback package 20 sessions for $2,200

15 hour Intensive $2,400 plus accommodations and travel fees

25 hour Intensive $ 3750 plus accommodations and travel fees

I take cash, check and all major credit cards. I do keep a credit card on file for your convenience and for any missed sessions.

 How long is a typical session?  

Each session typically last 50 minutes. At times, if necessary, during EMDR or couples counseling I do recommend a 90 minute session.

Neurofeedback session typically run 45 to 55 min depending on the protcol designed specically for you.

How many sessions will I need?

This is different for each individual. Together you and I will determine the frequency and length of counseling provided depending on your needs. Of course, it also depends on what you put into your own healing. The goal is obviously to get you to a place of healing and decrease the frequency of sessions.

Are you available over email or text?

I only text with clients regarding scheduling. Texting or email is not a guaranteed secure source. If you need immediate assistance you are welcome to call.

Do you offer phone and on-line sessions?

I offer phone and tele-health on-line sessions. I use a secure platform called Doxy.me. It works similar to a zoom call. This is a great option for those that can not make it into the office due to weather, illness, busy schedule or just prefer on-line.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

There is no charge for any cancellation made prior to the 24 hours before a scheduled session. Any cancellation made after a 24 hour period will be charged the $160.00 rate.  

Is what I share confidential?

All of your conversations with Life Together Counseling are completely confidential. The only exception to this is where I am mandated by Law (in the case of child abuse and/or elder abuse or imminent danger to yourself or others). You may sign a release of information if you choose to release records to anyone. We will discuss disclosures in person to determine if it is beneficial to your therapy.
